I was born in a hospital in the city of Brisbane, Australia, and have lived here all my life (the city, not the hospital). I went to primary school, as most people do, and somehow managed to spend most of my spare time in the first six or so years there in the library, reading entirely too many books.
My arty side probably sprang from all of that reading in my junior years, as well as an irrational love of horses that, as far as I can remember, stemmed from a dream wherein I rode a horse around the school oval and it totally rocked. Anyway, this cliched love of the animals lead me to draw them in all of my school books, endlessly irritating my mother and teachers. Drawing and art never really progressed too much outside of the classroom, which really means it didn't progress at all. Not until I was about 14 and stumbled upon Conceptart.org, where I was, and still am, inspired and helped along by countless other artists. I have been an active member for about 4 years and continue to post art and whatnot, and intend to continue doing so until either I go blind or my hands fall off, or both.
I'm currently studying a BFA majoring in Animation at QUT , and one day I'd like to work at a games studio here in Brisneyland.
